tips in building houses in nigeria

In buying houses either for a residential building, industrial or commercial, here are some factors that has to be considered before purchasing;
  •  Age- The age of a property greatly determines the value because, the longer the property stays it tends to depreciate in value so, depreciate in a sense that an old building will lack some modern designs and the materials used to construct such a building will be showing signs of weakness such as cracks, leakages and so on. A buyer should seriously consider this factor before purchasing a building or rather purchase it for a low amount and renovate the building.
  • Location- This is also an important factor that should taken into consideration when purchasing a landed property. properties located at urban centers like Lagos will command a higher value to a property located in a rural centre. So a buyer should go for a property located in an urban centre if the purpose of the purchase is to make profit. for those who will love to purchase a building for commercial purpose should not go and buy a building inside a rural area but instead of that, buy a building closer to the road, this also helps in publicity.
  •  Accessibility- in buying a property especially a building, the access to such a property should be considered, expect you are ready to create an access road to such an area.
  • Purpose- Your purpose of acquiring such a building matters a lot, your purpose will determine how and where and the type of building your want. If I want to buy a building for commercial purpose such as selling etc you don't expect me to buy a bungalow building for that No!, instead of that I will buy a Complex which is close to the road as these will help in making the business better and it will also grow faster.
This is just article 1 of the tips which will help you select and buy a good and solid building in Nigeria. I hope with these little points you have been able to grab or get a little of where am heading too.
